Homemade Phoenix Costume

Thought I’d share these with you. These are pics of me from Halloween 2009 but this costume I originally made for San Diego Comic Con 2009 (just improved it for Halloween).  The gloves, stockings, and green leotard I got from one site and matched it with a sash from another.  Then just made the emblem with paint and stretchy gold fabric.  Pretty easy, in the end! :) – Carolyn

    hey, awesome job on that costume. ive been trying really hard to find out how to make one just like this basically. Where did you buy the leatard an stockings? you said you bought it all at the same store so i wondered which one..if you dont mind sharing. thank yoU!

    that was a year ago so not sure they still offer it all but no harm in trying.

    The above website has a lot of the composite pieces. I just had to make the emblem and the black triangle, then affix the emblem. Although the black was painted on and it is a waterbased paint so I have to redo the black now and then.
